The 2oo8 election was not contested and John Stevenson retired and his place was taken by his son Richard.
The Board held their 2009 AGM on the 7th may 2009 and the 2010 AGM is planned for May and the date will be confirmed
The Board have been holding talks with neighbouring IDB,s regarding the Defra review and the proposed sub-catchment arrangements. The Board have been linked with the Middle Level but as they do not drain into the Ouse area feel that they may best be suited to the North level & District I D B. No firm resolution has been passed and talks are still progressing.
The Board have received indication of a development extending to over 19ha to the east of Whittlesey Town centre. The site is bounded by the A605 Eastrea Road to the south , Drybread Road to the North, residential areas to the west and farmland to the east. Larkfleet Homes proposals for a mini village including 500 homes and shops.

   
Conservation – The Board have instructed the Middle Level Commissioners and the Wildlife Trust to produce their Biodiversity Action Plan (BAP) by the 1st April 2010. It will be under the Middle Level BAP Partnership.

The Board consists of six elected members and seven Fenland District Council representatives
